Getting started on Putter Talk

Invite-only for now, what you will see first, and how to settle in.

Putter Talk is the home for putter people: rooms, a photo-forward feed, real reviews, and a Community that knows its gear.

Invite-only right now

Through the summer and into private beta, membership is invite-only. You join with a single-use invite link (or code) from someone already inside. If you found the door without an invite, you can join the waitlist from sign-in. Waitlist spots are admitted in batches; there is no public "sign up free" button while the house is still filling.

What you will see first

  1. Accept the Rules when you create your account (the Agreement you are consenting to).
  2. Verify your email so you can post and participate fully.
  3. Onboarding: follow a few rooms and people so the feed is not empty on day one, then set an avatar.
  4. Home feed: posts from rooms and people you follow, plus good material the Community ranks as helpful.

Tips so you do not bounce

  • Follow at least a few rooms in onboarding. The feed gets life from your graph.
  • Tag real gear when you post. Tags resolve to putters in our knowledge record when they can.
  • Read The Rules once. They are short and actually used.
  • Stuck? Use Stuck? or jump a topic from the Help home.
