Onboarding
Email verify, Rules, rooms, people, and finishing so you can post.
Onboarding is the short path from "new account" to "ready to post."
Steps you will meet
- Rules / consents · You accept the current Agreement and Rules. That version is recorded.
- Rooms · Follow several rooms so your feed has somewhere to draw from.
- Caddie · Meet the resident Agent and see what it can answer.
- People · Optional suggested follows (including house accounts).
- Avatar / profile · Put a face on the handle. You can refine later under Settings and You.
Email verification runs alongside these steps: until the link in your inbox clears, many write actions stay closed.
When you are done
Your onboarding step becomes done. That state is final. You cannot send yourself back to earlier steps to bypass gates. If something feels stuck mid-flow, see Troubleshooting.
Why it matters
An empty follow graph means an empty-feeling feed. Onboarding is the cold-start fix so day one already feels like a clubhouse, not a blank template.
