How home ranking works, stars, votes, and "show fewer."
Home is the feed
The home feed mixes posts from rooms and people you follow with additional Community material ranked for helpfulness, not pure virality. Photo posts are first-class. Discussions, Reads, and videos mix in under house rules.
Signals you will notice
- Stars on photos (the house reaction; storage may still say "like" under the hood).
- Up / down votes on discussions, framed as helpful or not. Counts show plainly. There is no "karma" product.
- Suggested chips when something is surfaced on merit rather than a follow.
Show fewer
On a card menu you can ask the feed to show fewer posts like that target. Those choices are yours, listed under Settings so you can undo them. Ranking should stay answerable, not a black box.
Empty or quiet feed
Follow more rooms and people. Onboarding is designed to prevent day-one emptiness; if you skipped rooms, open Rooms and join a handful of makers you care about.
