Posting and compose

Compose entry points

Where you tap Post matters:

• From the feed +, you typically compose photos (and video when available).
• From a room, you can start a discussion already aimed at that room.
• Reads (long-form reviews/articles) use the Reads writing flow for granted writers.

Gear tags

When you tag a putter, the app tries to resolve it to a canonical record from the knowledge base. Community-only tags stay labeled as community; they do not wear "verified fact" clothing.

Editing and deleting

Authors can edit live posts within house rules. Edited posts may show an edited marker. Deleting content you authored is allowed; deleting someone else's is not.

Mentions

Type @handle to mention someone (within limits). They are notified according to their mention settings.

Rate limits

There are hourly caps on posts and comments to keep spam out. If you hit a limit, wait and try again.
