BB Series

The 2026 BB Series marks what the maker describes as the most significant redesign in the history of the line. Bettinardi's page folds the INOVAI and Studio Stock families into this single BB Series, offering seven updated designs across blades, compact mallets, and full-body mallets. The maker attributes the design to Robert and Sam Bettinardi, while thehackersparadise.com credits Sam Bettinardi, President of Bettinardi Golf, as the figure behind it.

Construction is verified as one piece milled, with no inserts, and Bettinardi's page lists the material as milled from one piece of 303 Stainless Steel, produced in-house in Tinley Park, Illinois. The face uses VDF, or Variable Depth Flymill, milling across nine individually tuned zones, with deeper grooves where the maker says more control is needed and shallower grooves where more energy transfer is wanted, developed through testing with Quintic. The maker's page credits this milling with roughly 30 percent less variation in effective distance and more than 40 percent less variation in topspin, a figure thehackersparadise.com also reports. The series ships in a Savannah Blue PVD finish with midnight sapphire and slate gray paint fill, on a Tour-grade brushed nickel shaft, and comes with a dual-constructed carbon fiber magnetic headcover finished in navy and gray. MSRP is $495 USD, with pre-orders beginning January 20, 2026, US in-store availability early February, and international availability in March, per both the maker and thehackersparadise.com.

Early reception has been mixed. Community testing that pitted the BB Series against 29 other putters had it finishing first and second, with testers praising how it felt on course and how consistent it played on off-center strikes, matching the maker's own claims about energy transfer. But thehackersparadise.com, after a one-round audition, called it nice, but not enough to cement a place in the bag, a verdict that sits at odds with the stronger showing elsewhere.

Against its own history, this release is a consolidation as much as an update. Where the 2024 BB Series introduced the Perpetual Flymill face and rebalanced center of gravity across seven models including the BB1, BB1 Wide, BB8 Flow, BB48, and BB28 Slotback, and the 2022 line kept BB Series and INOVAI as separate, upgraded siblings, the 2026 version absorbs those separate lines into one family under a new VDF face milling system, still built around seven models and still cut from a single piece of stainless steel in Tinley Park.
