2022 BB Series

The 2022 BB Series arrived alongside that year's INOVAI lineup, part of what Bettinardi's own announcement called "their all-new production putter lines, the 2022 BB Series and INOVAI lineup." The maker's release noted the putters were available to pre-order starting November 18, 2021, with shipping domestically and internationally by March 15th, 2022, and framed the year's work as Robert and Sam Bettinardi continuing "their legacy of innovation and heritage, crafting the next generation of world-class milled putters with the upgraded BB Series."

On spec, the 2022 BB Series carries a Graphite Gray PVD finish, a Lamkin Sink Fit grip offered in standard and jumbo sizes, a tour grade shaft, and a Flymill patterned headcover to match the line's aggressive Flymill Face Milling. The maker's page lists the heads as 100% precision milled from a single block of 303 stainless steel, with a 303 stainless steel face and a 35 gram head weight.

Against the rest of the BB line, this release sits in the Flymill era, ahead of the "Perpetual Flymill face" that Bettinardi would introduce with the 2024 BB Series after testing, in Sam Bettinardi's words, "over 30 different Flymill patterns." The 2022 lineup's own materials tie it to Tour feedback and the company's Tinley Park manufacturing, but the record here is specific to what shipped that year, not to what followed in 2024.
