Byron would often send me putters where the stamping would be in binary. This one showed up one day unannounced. “612” is what that decodes to.

Byron made this 89 for me..Dark oil can extra rolling and it was sweet.. I loaned it out and the guy wanted it.. I should have never sold it. Byron used to get mad at me when I sold gifts.. I really wished I had kept all the putters he gave me

This was a handmade J Blade made by the man himself.. I bought off of a gentleman and it was black.. Had Byron copper plate it..

Dave B’s Byron Putters

This was the last putter that Byron sent me before he passed. I'd often come home to a random box on my front porch from him. I called and asked what this even was. His reply: "I don't know...just thought it was cool."

Original set of DH89s from the release in 2009. Set #2 matched. The Carbon and Stainless are 2/39 and the Copper is 2/11. I originally owned the #1 set, and the cavities on them were all milled binary code that spelled out DH89 but they were stolen in Atlanta when I was moving. I inherited this set from my father when he passed. Also a good friend of Byron's, so sets #1 and #2 were sent to the Hardman family. Dad's was the first (and I believe only) set to also have snake-skin grips that matched. I did the design for the headcovers for Byron when we were designing the putter.

This is something typical of Byron, we were talking about the “feel” difference of different materials, GS, copper, stainless steel,,,,, then the conversation turned to Anser vs Wilson 8802,,,,, couple of weeks later this arrived, copper plated GS 8802, carpet rolled it couple of dozen times and when struck right, butter!
