Limited Release My Girl

The Limited Release My Girl came out of Scotty Cameron's shop in 2002, built on the Newport head shape and finished at 33 inches, with a 71° lie and 4° of loft. The maker's page frames it plainly as a putter made especially for the ladies, and the specs on record back that intent up: a shorter, lighter setup dressed for the part rather than a stock Newport wearing a different grip.

Where the record gets interesting is the grip itself. Our verified spec lists it as a Pink Pistol Grip, but the maker's own archive page describes it differently: "color coordinated black Winn grip with pink striping and matching black headcover with pink poodles." That's a real discrepancy between two things we hold, not a case of one source simply restating the other, so both stand here rather than one overwriting the other.

The maker's page also puts a number on scarcity, "Production was limited to 500 pieces worldwide," which lines up with the pieces_made figure on record. As with most of Cameron's limited runs, that number is the maker's own account rather than an independently verified count, but it's the figure the Custom Shop itself has published. Within the broader My Girl concept, this is the release that set the template: Newport head, ladies-specific build, small run, and a headcover detail, the poodles, that the maker's prose singles out on its own.
