Custom options on record for the 2017 version include lengths in half inch increments between 36 and 40 inches for both right and left handed players, with loft adjustable -1 to +1 degree and lie -2 to +2 degrees.

A year later, the line drops the Dual Balance branding and the standard Futura 6M arrives as part of the 2018 Futura family. The maker's page traces its own lineage back to the same tour prototype work, and describes the 2018 version as combining MOI-enhancing concepts from the earlier Futura X family, such as external weights positioned off the back flange, with a wrap-around aluminum face-sole component for feel.
