Futura 6M

The Futura 6M arrived in 2018 as the standard-length sibling to Cameron's Dual Balance Futura 6M, which had come a year earlier at a counterbalanced 38 inches. This version returns to conventional stroke lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches, with the head weighting adjusted accordingly: 2 x 20 grams at 33 inches, 2 x 15 grams at 34, and 2 x 10 grams at 35, plus 2 x 10 grams of external weight regardless of length.

The maker's page traces the head back to tour use, calling it a putter that "began its journey to production as a hard-working prototype on the worldwide professional golf tours." It carries over the MOI-forward thinking of the Futura X family, with weights positioned off the back flange, and pairs a 303 stainless steel body with a 6061 aircraft aluminum face-sole component, the source of what the maker describes as its soft feel. Loft sits at 3.5 degrees and lie at 70 degrees, with full shaft offset, and both are adjustable within a degree and two degrees respectively through custom ordering. The stock grip is the Black Matador Midsize at 11 inches.

Set against the Dual Balance 6M, the 2018 Futura 6M is the same core head concept scaled down to play at normal length rather than as a counterbalanced tool, making it the more conventional entry point into the 6M shape within the Futura line that year.
