Futura 5.5M

The Futura 5.5M enters the record with a single release, in 2018, and the line's arc for now is that single point. There is no earlier or later model to chart a shift against, so what we hold is the putter as it stood that year: a 303 stainless steel head paired with a 6061 aircraft aluminum face and sole, built to Scotty Cameron's standard custom fitting range of lengths, lie, and loft adjustment.

That construction, steel body with an aluminum insert at the face and sole, places the 5.5M's 2018 edition within the Futura family's broader habit of mixing materials to shape feel and sound, though the record here speaks only to this one release and not to how the mallet shape or face system may have moved before or after it. The fitting specs on file, lengths at 33, 34, and 35 inches, half inch custom increments, and a lie and loft window of a couple degrees in either direction, are standard Cameron custom-shop territory, offered here in the same form for the 5.5M as for its stablemates.
