Futura 5.5M

The 2018 Futura 5.5M pairs a 303 stainless steel body with a 6061 aircraft aluminum face and sole, the split-material construction that has defined the Futura mallet family. Its build is fixed at 70 degrees of lie and 3.5 degrees of loft, with custom fitting available across a -2 to +2 degree lie window and -1 to +1 degree loft window, plus half-inch length adjustments on top of the stock 33, 34, and 35 inch offerings. Offset is listed as full shaft, keeping the head set well behind the hands in line with the rest of the Futura line.

Weighting scales with length rather than staying fixed: 2 x 20 gram weights at 33 inches, 2 x 15 grams at 34 inches, and 2 x 10 grams at 35 inches, a sliding scale that lets the shorter builds carry more mass in the sole as the shaft comes down. It ships with the Black Matador Mid-size grip at 11 inches.
