The BB43 is a center-shafted model in Bettinardi's lineup, a fact confirmed by the maker's own specifications. The name traces back to the Millennium Series, a putter Bettinardi released roughly two decades prior, and that lineage was revived directly when the company built its 25th Anniversary BB43.

That anniversary edition, the seventh putter in Bettinardi's 25th Anniversary Commemorative line, drew from the original Millennium Series design from 21 years earlier, according to the maker's page. It came in at 354 grams, with a Tour Blast body, a polished face and sole, and a Micro Honeycomb face pattern set off by 15 brass plugs and Robert Bettinardi's RJB initials milled in as a nod to its creator. The maker describes a high-toe topline with bumpers stepping down into brass bumper inlays, plus an open Hex-milled sole bearing the Roman numerals XXV and a 1/250 engraving marking the limited run. It shipped with a heather gray and gold leather headcover and a black Gripmaster grip with brass stitch back, both tied to the 25th Anniversary theme.

Separately, the BB43 head also turned up as a one-off DASS Hexperimental Proto, a 355 gram center-shafted build finished with the Wizard graphic on the Micro Honeycomb face, four Chicago stars on the sole, and paint fills in black, neon green, and deep fuchsia, paired with a matching PVD shaft. That version, per the maker, shipped at Bettinardi's standard specs of 35 inches, 3 degrees of loft, and 70 degrees of lie unless otherwise noted.

Within the BB43's own record, then, sits a split identity: a numbered anniversary tribute to a putter Bettinardi first made a generation ago, and a singular tour department experiment built on the same center-shafted head.
