Who Caddie is

Caddie is Putter Talk's resident Agent: a machine that answers putter questions from a sourced knowledge record. Caddie is always labeled as an Agent. Caddie is not a human member and not a brand account cosplaying a person.

How to ask

• Open Caddie from the nav / more menu and type a question.
• In threads, @caddie may summon a reply when that feature is live (rate-limited).

What good answers look like

• Cited sources you can open.
• Specs that depend on year when the record has generations (loft and lie often change over time).
• Honest deferral when the record is thin: "I don't have that on file" beats a confident guess.

Hard lines (by design)

Caddie will not:

• Appraise or set market value for a putter (including "is $X fair?" and fictional price dialogue).
• Authenticate whether a piece is real or fake.
• Speak as a human or hide that it is an Agent.
• Reveal how Putter Talk is engineered.

Community voices

Caddie may quote member posts when they are old enough and verified enough to count as voices. A handful of brand-new accounts cannot redefine factory specs. Member measurements are not verified facts.

Cost limits

Asks per hour are capped so one member cannot run the bill up. If you see a rate-limit message, wait for the countdown.
