Greetings putter enthusiasts! It’s been a while…

Since 2006, Putter Talk has been the largest putter discussion and putter review site on the internet. In the last 6-7 years, we’ve seen a decline in viewership and engagement. That’s 100% my fault. I got busy with my corporate job, and the number of rounds I’ve played in that time can be counted on one hand. I stopped spending time here, and let the site get stale and out-dated.

A few months ago, I started getting text messages from old friends in the industry, asking what it would take to get Putter Talk back up to its former glory. There was a time where we were seeing thousands of new people a year, and millions of page views a month. There is a dis-satisfaction among them with the other offerings on the internet, not being able to talk about specific manufacturers, or topics that the other forums see as taboo. They wanted Putter Talk back.

So, I started thinking about it. I started reaching out to old contacts, and started engaging with new ones. I spent hundreds of hours reading many golf forums, and watching the discussions that were happening. I saw familiar faces, and lots of new ones. All with the same questions that people were asking 13 years ago when I started Putter Talk. The time was right for a comeback.

Over the years, Putter Talk has had about 20,000 members of one form or another. People that have spent many hours on our forums, and some that just stopped in once or twice to say hi. I’m reaching out to all of them to let people know about the re-launch of

We have a fresh new look, completely new site architecture, and new writers that’ll be providing content for us. Our social media presence will be greatly enhanced on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. You’ll see many PGA credentialed writers, and some of the best teaching pros contributing to the site in the future. All of this, is to say that we are renewing our commitment to providing the best putter related content in the world.

Every week, we will have fresh putter reviews, news, and instruction articles. We’ll have YouTube videos with tips and tricks to help you on the green, as well as interviews showcasing some of the best putter manufacturers in the business. We have a discussion board filled up with like-minded golf enthusiasts that have something to share. Need to know information on the crazy putter you found at a garage sale? Post a picture in the Community and I’ll bet there is someone here that can tell you all about it.

The best manufacturers in the business all have a place at Putter Talk. We want them all to be involved in our Community, and able to answer questions from golfers all over the world. Putter Talk has members in 45 countries. This is truly a global community. Putter collectors come in all shapes and sizes. They are all welcome at Putter Talk.

In closing, I’d like to say how exciting this is for all of us involved. I’ve been able to put an all-star team together to work on rebuilding Putter Talk over the last 6 weeks. We have a lot of great things in the works, and I can’t wait to share it all with you.

As our first headcover release puts it so eloquently, we’re back!
