Del Monte 7

The Del Monte 7 line, as we hold it, exists as two entries: the TP Hydro Blast Del Monte 7 dated to 2021, and a second listing, the TP Hydroblast Del Monte #7, carrying no date of its own in our record. Both describe the same basic shape, a blade with the Hydro Blast finish that gives the line its name, and both trace back to reporting rather than to TaylorMade's own pages, which we do not hold here.

Golf.com's coverage of the 2021 release put it at a blade, finished in Hydro Blast, with an MSRP of $200 USD. TGW's writeup of the TP Hydroblast Del Monte #7, meanwhile, fills in more of the shape: a blade with a face-balanced single bend hosel, a face milled by machine, and a white PureRoll insert in soft Surlyn set at a 45 degree downward groove angle, with a 303 stainless steel face. Whether these two rows describe the same release under differing house styles for Hydro Blast, or two separate points in the line's run, is not something our record resolves, and a reader piecing together the Del Monte 7's arc should hold that open rather than assume one.

What's consistent across both entries is the identity: a blade putter, face-balanced, wearing the Hydro Blast finish, built around an insert face rather than a milled one. That much both sources agree on, even if the finer points, and the calendar itself, come from different outlets reporting at different times.
