TPM 2

The TPM 2 is the second putter in T.P. Mills' Mizuno line, and what we hold on it comes entirely from one outside source, kingdomofgolf.blogspot.com. That blog lists the head as forged, and describes the feel in terms that read as a compliment: fantastically soft.

The same review is where the record's only real tension shows up. The blogger who called the feel fantastically soft also flagged the putter as too light in the hand at their preferred playing length of 34 inches, calling that lightness the one thing holding the putter back. Soft and light aren't necessarily the same complaint, a forged head can be built either way, but it's worth noting that the one voice we have on the TPM 2 praised it and knocked it in the same breath.

There isn't a second opinion here to weigh against the first, and no maker-published page to check the forged claim or the 34 inch length against. What stands on record is a single, specific reaction: a putter that felt exceptionally soft off the face, held back for one reviewer by weight rather than by anything about the strike itself.
