B3 Triple Black Design Santa Fe

The 2024 B3 Triple Black Design Santa Fe is one of the Triple Black run's takes on the Santa Fe head, built as a modern production putter rather than a reissue of the archival Classic. Scotty Cameron's own archive describes the Santa Fe as a Newport head with a sightline, a slightly offset neck, and more toe flow than a standard Newport, and this release carries that same shape forward: the maker lists high toe flow and 3/4 shaft offset on the 2024 spec sheet, consistent with the head's original design intent.

Where this release departs from the archival Santa Fe is in its numbers. The vintage Classics ran 4° loft and 71° lie at a fixed 35" length. The 2024 B3 Triple Black Design comes in at 3.5° loft and 70° lie, with custom loft and lie windows of -1° to +1° and -2° to +2° respectively, and ships in 33", 34", and 35" lengths with half-inch custom lengths available. The head is 303 stainless steel, fitted with a Pistolini Plus grip, and weighted at 2 x 40 grams for the 33" build, 2 x 35 grams at 34", and 2 x 30 grams at 35".

Against its own line, this is a Santa Fe built to current Cameron production standards rather than a period piece: the toe flow and offset character of the original head are retained, but the loft, lie, and weighting have been tuned down from the 1996 to 1998 archival specs to fit a modern, fully customizable release.
