Select Newport 2 Notchback

The 2012 Select Newport 2 Notchback is the archival version of this model, the one the maker's own 2012 page calls "the wild one of the bunch," a notched-flange blade with a single-bend, shaft-in setup finished in Black Misted. That archive page lists the head in 303SS, with a loft of 4°, a lie of 71°, a 3/4 shaft offset, and lengths of 33", 34", and 35", with custom options limited to 34"H and 35"H and lie adjustment of +/-2º. All of that is maker-published for this specific 2012 listing.

The same model shows up elsewhere in Scotty Cameron's materials with a different spec set entirely: loft of 3.5º, lie of 70º, full shaft offset, 303 stainless steel with a 6061 aircraft aluminum face inlay, a Matador Midsize 11" grip, and weights of 2 x 20 grams at 33", 2 x 15 grams at 34", and 2 x 10 grams at 35". Custom loft on that version runs -1º to +1º, with lie adjustment of -2º to +2º and half-inch length increments available. Both sets of numbers come from the maker, but they don't agree with each other, loft, lie, offset, and head material all diverge between the archival 2012 page and the general model page, so both are worth holding onto rather than picking one.

Within the Notchback's own run, the 2012 release sits as the archival entry, described on the maker's page as carrying "the Select family traits for performance with just a little extra." It's also distinct from the later Dual Balance configuration of the Notchback, which ships at a fixed 38" with counterweighting front and back and a 15" Dual Balance grip, a setup built for a different kind of stroke than the standard-length 2012 Select version.
