Select GoLo 5

The Select GoLo 5 arrived in 2012 as a companion to the standard Select GoLo, built around the same head shape but scaled down. Scotty Cameron's own page describes the GoLo 5 as a smaller version of the GoLo head, roughly 10% more compact, made to carry over the look, feel, and performance of the wider GoLo while offering a setup intended to instill more confidence over the ball. That's the maker's framing for why the model exists at all, positioned as a refinement rather than a redesign.

On spec, the record holds a 4° loft and 71° lie, a 303SS head, and 3/4 shaft offset, matching the material and geometry conventions of Cameron's GoLo family. Stock lengths ran 33", 34", and 35", with custom right-handed builds available in those same three lengths and left-handed custom builds limited to 33" and 35". Lie could be adjusted plus or minus 2 degrees from stock, per Cameron's custom options.

Within the GoLo line, the 2012 Select GoLo 5 sits as the compact sibling to the standard Select GoLo, sharing its material and offset profile while trimming head size for players who wanted the GoLo concept in a smaller footprint.
