Futura X5 H-14

The Futura X5 H-14 exists in our record as a single release, arriving in 2014 as part of that year's Limited Release program. There is no earlier or later chapter to trace here, no evolution across models. What we hold is one machine, built and shipped once.

Scotty Cameron's own page describes the H-14 as a motorsports-inspired mallet, framing it against the language of racing chassis and engineering. The maker's page ties this directly to construction: a hollow neck and a lightweight 6061 aluminum piece paired with a sculpted sole plate, meant to move weight into the 303 stainless steel face and the wing-shaped sections of the head, aiming for a low center of gravity with high moment of inertia. Verified specs back this multi-material build, with 303 stainless steel and 6061 aluminum listed as the head material, alongside a 3.5 degree loft, 70 degree lie, 34 inch length, and full shaft offset.

The maker's presentation leaned into the racing theme beyond the head shape itself. The page describes bold red and yellow coloring meant to give the putter what the maker calls a racy look, finished with a milled and engraved stainless steel shaft ring, an embroidered headcover, and a white Pistolero grip. The maker's page also states this was a limited release of 1000 pieces worldwide, shipping in late November of 2014.

With only the one release on record, the H-14 reads less as a lineage and more as a single, fully realized statement, motorsports styling applied to a multi-material mallet, produced once and not revisited in the rows we hold.
