Futura X5

The Futura X5 is the 2016 entry in Scotty Cameron's Futura X line, built from 303 stainless steel with an aluminum sole. The head carries full shaft offset and ships with a 70 degree lie and 3.5 degree loft, standard specs across the model.

Custom ordering was available across the usual Cameron ranges: loft adjustable from -1 to +1 degree, lie from -2 to +2 degrees, and left-hand lengths offered at 33, 34, and 35 inches, with right-hand available in half-inch increments. Stock length options match the left-hand custom range at 33, 34, and 35 inches. Weighting scales with length, running 2 x 20 grams at 33 inches, 2 x 15 grams at 34 inches, and 2 x 10 grams at 35 inches, a detail that points to sole weight management being tuned specifically for each shaft length rather than left as a flat spec. The stock grip is the Matador Midsize at 11 inches.
