Futura Phantom Mallet

The Futura Phantom Mallet's record holds a single release, 2005, and the line begins and ends there in our files. The maker's page lists the head as 6061 Aluminum with a stainless steel back weight, elsewhere given simply as Aluminum/Steel, a lightweight-face-material-with-heavier-perimeter approach that marked the original Futura shape when it broke from Cameron's blade-heavy catalog.

Specs on record for the 2005 release are steady rather than sprawling: a 4° loft, 71° lie, no offset, and a custom lie tolerance of plus or minus 2°. It shipped in 34" and 35" lengths with a Black Baby T grip standard, and the maker's page lists custom options of Red or Black in either the Baby T or Studio Design grip, along with a 35" left-hand custom length.
