The Concept X 7.2 LTD arrived in 2023 as a special run, Tour Only design, built off the Phantom X 7 head shape after players on tour asked for a plumbing neck added to that mallet. Scotty Cameron's page describes it as a limited-release offering that combines the performance of the Phantom X 7 with a tour-inspired plumbing neck, and it carries an MSRP of $750 USD. The construction pairs a 303 stainless steel body with a 6061 aircraft aluminum flange and sole component, finished in Tour Black through what the maker's page calls a proprietary misting process for a radiant yet glare-resistant texture. The three dot theme is paintfilled in a new translucent smoke, with a cherry dot sight line and dark gray sight lines rounding out the alignment package.

The neck is the headline change against the rest of the Concept X 7 line: a completely re-designed I-beam style plumbing neck, described by the maker as toe flow-promoting, with industrial engraving on each side and one shaft of offset. Scotty Cameron's page frames the result as a putter that swings like a blade with the stability of a mallet, high-MOI despite the more angular, winged shape.
