Bullseye

The 1998 Bullseye is Scotty Cameron's take on a design that predates him. The maker's page lists it plainly: "This is a Scotty revamped version of the John Reuter Jr. design Bullseye with a higher toe." That lineage sits at the center of the release, a Cameron putter built on top of a shape that already carried history before he touched it.

The 1998 head is brass, in both body and face, with SC milled into the sole as the only marking of record. The higher toe profile is the visible departure point from the Reuter original, the detail the maker's own description leads with when placing this version in context.

Set against the rest of the Bullseye line, this 1998 release is the brass-era version, ahead of the 2001 redesign that moved the model to carbon steel with a pro platinum finish. Where that later Black Bullseye came with new script and a matching headcover, the 1998 model stands as the earlier, simpler statement: brass, SC on the sole, higher toe, Reuter's design filtered through Cameron's hand.
