2-Bar Hybrid

The Rife 2-Bar Hybrid line, as our record holds it, is a single release: the Tour Blade edition. There is no run of successive models to trace here, only one entry point into the design, built around Rife's two-bar weighting concept in a blade shape.

On tour, the line has a moment of record: Rife's own site, in a February 2009 post, credits Katherine Hull with a five-stroke win at the ANZ Ladies Australian Masters using the 2 Bar Hybrid, and notes it as the 16th professional victory for Rife Putters in the preceding 12 months. The same post places other 2-Bar models, the Black Barbados and 2 Bar Mallet, in the hands of other players finishing inside the top 10 that week, suggesting the 2-Bar family carried real presence in women's golf at that time, at least by Rife's own telling.

Reviewers who spent time with the Tour Blade edition came away largely favorable. Community opinion pointed to an improved make percentage on putts in the 10 to 15 foot range and praised the grip feel, along with the adjustable weights and lie. That same opinion was clear that the putter would not suit golfers looking for a soft, squishy insert feel, and did not regard it as a piece built for collectors.
