Battle Ready Hercules

The Battle Ready Hercules is a mid-mallet in PXG's Battle Ready line, built around a 100-percent milled, bi-material body construction, as the maker's page describes it, with high-density tungsten inserts set into that body. PXG's page positions it as a traditional mid-sized mallet putter for players who want the best of both worlds of a blade and mallet-style model, which places it as a bridge piece within the line rather than a pure mallet or a pure blade.

The head carries PXG's Pyramid Face Pattern Technology and two tungsten inserts, paired with two adjustable sole weights under what the maker calls Precision Weighting Technology. The maker's page attributes the weighting choice to shifting mass away from the shaft axis to stabilize the stroke through impact.
