The publication described it as the first one piece precision milled putter Piretti has designed and manufactured since the company began two years ago, framing the Cottonwood II PN less as a variation on a theme and more as an opening statement in milled construction. Community opinion, for what it's worth, leaned toward the putter's feel: it was praised for the softest feeling putter head, with extra weight said to help steadiness and stroke, and described in terms like buttery soft, smooth, velvety.
