Both are describing the same putter, and the difference reads more like emphasis than contradiction, but it's worth noting the two phrasings aren't identical.

The reception noted in our material leans strongly positive. golfalot.com's review states that this iconic feeling has never been improved upon and over half of the tour players still use the old insert, leading Odyssey to believe that if it ain't broke then don't fix it. amateurgolf.com's take on the sound at impact praises it directly: it had a pleasing sound at impact that matched that magnitude of the strike better than many putters whose sound is more muffled. golfalot.com also credits the model with more than 30 professional wins in 2012, well over a decade after its release, and lists a resale price of around £50 for 2000/2001 models.
