The maker's page also credits a 303 stainless steel front section, finish milled to shape and weight, with keeping the center of gravity forward to help tighten dispersion on off-center strikes.

Golfmagic corroborated the 5,000 MOI figure independently, and construction details reported across sources describe a stainless steel body paired with a lightweight aluminum soleplate, along with removable weights available in aluminum, steel, and tungsten so a golfer can dial in head weight. Golfalot's reporting puts the tungsten mass behind the face at over 120 grams, split between toe and heel, and describes the face insert as the returning White Hot, sized small and centered rather than running full face. Golfmagic reported the putter as face-balanced, and fairwayjockey.com categorized it as a blade putter, distinct from the mallet shapes it's being measured against.

Reception split sharply along the forgiveness question. Fairwayjockey.com argued plainly that blade putters can be forgiving and credited the Tri-Hot 5K with proving it. Golfalot.com took the opposite view of the shape itself, saying Odyssey got the putter head shape wrong. Golfmagic's review landed in between, calling the range just short of perfect.
