The SuperStroke branding it carries traces to Odyssey's broader push to pair its putter lines with the SuperStroke grip. The maker's own material describes the appeal directly: "The SuperStroke Grip allows for even pressure in both hands to eliminate the added tension in the wrist and forearms," a pitch built around removing tension from the stroke and letting the arms swing more freely.
