The maker's page lists the head as a Double Bend Face-Balanced Mallet with no toe hang, built for a straight back, straight through stroke, and lists a 365 gram head weight, a figure corroborated by golfalot.com. It carries a Microhinge Star Insert per the maker's page, on a Stroke Lab Weighting shaft that redistributes weight to the head and grip end.

Reviewers were largely taken with how it plays. 2ndswing.com credits this generation with a firmer, enhanced sound at impact relative to previous generations while maintaining the roll benefits Odyssey putters are famous for, and fairwayjockey.com similarly found the feel relatively soft and forgiving, yet the roll is strong and stays on the line the entire way to the hole. Golf Monthly called it forgiving and consistent, saying you should find your performance on the greens improve if you make the switch. Golf.com's reviewer singled out the lower profile face depth, noting it just sort of melts into the ground and calling it really confidence-inspiring.

Not every account lands the same. Community opinion held it up against its sibling, the Eleven, and came away less impressed, noting a lighter feel may not suit all stroke tempos and that the look reminded one reviewer of a 2-ball sitting on top of a drinks coaster. Golfalot.com was the most direct on this point, writing that as much as the 2-Ball Ten and 2-Ball Ten Tour Lined are both great putters in their own right, the two putters don't combine to be better than the originals they are born out of, and separately that they preferred the Eleven Putter to the Ten.
