BERES PP

The BERES PP line, as our record holds it, arrived in a single moment rather than an evolution: two heads, both dated to early December 2017 by honmagolf.com, released together rather than staggered across seasons. That makes the "arc" of this line, at least on what we hold, less a story of change over time and more a story of a pair released side by side to cover two different putting strokes.

The PP-201 came to market as a blade, while the PP-202 arrived as a mallet, both reported by honmagolf.com as mild-forged with what the site describes as improved face precision enhances ball spin. Honmagolf.com frames the two as answering different needs: the PP-201 said to meet a wide range of putting styles, the PP-202 pitched as ideal for a more stable putting stroke. Both were offered, per the same source, in gloss nickel platinum, gloss nickel black, and full gold plated finishes, suggesting Honma treated the pair as a matched set at launch rather than as sequential generations.

With only these two releases on record, both dated to the same month of the same year, the BERES PP line's history here reads as a snapshot rather than a lineage.
