The Record

Written from the sources it cites · machine-drafted for the Community to correct

The ER2 as it stood in 2020 is captured on the maker's page as a 303 stainless steel head, CNC milled in Carlsbad, California, USA, finished in a silver satin. The specs listed for this version give a lie angle of 70 degrees, a 2 degree face loft off the shaft, and swing weight balanced by length at 33 inches at D4, 34 inches at D4, and 35 inches at D9. The shaft is described as FST stepless, .370 inch tip, mounted into an overfit plumber neck hosel, a straight shaft into that hosel rather than a bent one. Balance on this version is listed at 30 degrees toe down, and the stock grip is Evnroll's own red pistol grip. The maker's page also carries the line describing the intent behind the design: "New Evnroll Putters deliver unprecedented accuracy… Virtually the same distance to virtually the same spot from center and off-center hits."

This is worth setting against an earlier capture of the same model line, which lists a lie angle of 71 degrees, a Custom Winn ProX 1.18 grip, single bend shafting mounted directly in the head rather than into a plumber neck, and 15 degrees of toe down balance rather than 30. The head weights on that earlier page are also given by shaft length rather than by swing weight designation. Whether these differences reflect a running change to the ER2 head and hosel or simply two different points in the model's life, the record holds both sets of numbers as they were published, and they should not be read as interchangeable.

On the awards side, the maker's page lists the 2020 ER2 as tied for Best Overall in the MyGolfSpy Best Blade Putters of 2020 Buyer's Guide, a recognition that places this particular release among the blades MyGolfSpy singled out that year. That distinction is attributed to the maker's own page rather than confirmed independently here, and it applies specifically to this 2020 version of the ER2 rather than to the ER2 line as a whole.
