The Cobra Supersport line, as it stands on record, begins and ends so far with a single release: the KING Supersport-35, dated to 2020. There is no earlier Supersport entry to trace a lineage from, and no later one to show where the name went next. What we have is a single moment, and it's a striking one.

Forbes.com reported that the Supersport-35 came out of a collaboration with HP Metal Jet and Parmatech, built in 316 stainless steel, and tied to Bryson DeChambeau as designer collaborator. The same outlet put development starting in early 2019 and described 35 different design iterations before the putter reached its final form, which is presumably where the "35" in the name comes from, though that connection is our inference from the numbers on record rather than something either source states outright. Forbes also described the head as a traditional blade-style putter featuring an intricate lattice exoskeleton, a construction method distinct enough that it shaped most of what got written about the putter.

That construction is what reviewers responded to. One assessment praised it for precision manufacturing, a clean finish, and what was called an advanced production method. Forbes.com quoted a source calling it remarkable that metal could be 3D printed and come out this clean, this good looking, with this level of precision, and predicting that golfers of all levels would benefit. The praise across sources is consistent, and it centers less on how the putter rolls a ball than on how it was made.

With only this one release on the books, the Supersport line reads less as a developed arc and more as an opening statement, a name introduced through a manufacturing showcase rather than years of iteration. Where the name goes from here isn't something this record can speak to yet.
