SS35

The Studio Stock 35 exists in Putter Talk's records through a single tracked release, the SS35 DASS Slant Tour Dept Putter, but the maker's own product pages show a line that has run considerably wider than any one edition, built almost entirely as one-off and limited HIVE releases rather than a standard retail run.

The tracked release itself is a HIVE Exclusive, finished in Black Ox with teal and white paint fills, weighing 359 grams, and set up with a gray T-Hive Winn AVS Midsize Pistol grip and a black carbon fiber Tour Dept. headcover. Bettinardi's page for it allows the buyer to customize shaft, grip, length, loft, or lie, keeping the model within the maker's broader Tour Dept. customization approach even as a limited piece.

Around that release, the maker's own archive shows the SS35 head recurring across a string of distinct one-off and small-batch treatments. A 356-gram DASS Hexperimental Proto version carried a Roll Control face and a Sunglasses Skull & Bones sole design, described by Bettinardi as a 1-of-1 finished in Black Ox with a matte black shaft and Lamkin deep etch grip. A separate British Championship edition, limited to 15 pieces, paired a Rainbow PVD finish with a Full Fancy Floral face and a Stingers sole motif tied to a UK release, shipped with a black Gripmaster grip. Later pages show a Poison Gangster Cat version in an iridescent Black Rainbow PVD finish with a Full Fancy Poison face, and a Mokume face insert version built on a Welded Plumber's neck, combining sterling silver, copper, and brass in the insert and pairing a Poison Eyes Wizard sole design with a navy T-Hive magnetic headcover.

Taken together, the maker's page treats SS35 less as a fixed retail model and more as a recurring canvas, the same head reappearing under different finishes, face treatments, and sole art from one HIVE drop to the next.
