The BB1 name itself has proven durable enough that Bettinardi returned to it decades later for the DASS BB1 Flow, a putter milled from Double-Aged Stainless Steel that Matt Fitzpatrick carried to a win at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, described on the maker's own page as featuring "the pre-cursor face milling to our new Roll Control face." That later putter is a different release built on different material, but the shared BB1 designation across a quarter-century span speaks to how far the original naming has stretched within the Bettinardi catalog.
