Hannah Green played a great round to close out. That putt on the last to avoid a play off took real nerve. After the 2nd round when she was 7 under, Gary Koch stated on air that he and most of the players thought the 'real' leading score was 4 under, assuming that the leader would collapse. Always happy when other people beside himself make him look ridiculous. :)

A couple of new Cheyenne Knight fans at the NWA Championship. I told the kids she went to Bama and they gave her a “Roll Tide” (we are Bama fans). The kids got a really cool experience and have been talking about it all day.

This week the LPGA moves to the state of Wisconsin for the playing of the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic. Many of my readers may remember last year when Sei Young Kim set a new LPGA all-time record, when she shot an amazing 31 under par. That total was nine shots better than runner up Carlota Ciganda.

Here is my preview and much more:

It has been a while since I did an LPGA player profile.

The player I have chosen today is off to one of the best starts in LPGA history. She is the only LPGA player to have won at least twice in each of the past four years. That player is:

Brooke Henderson

This week the LPGA travels to Ohio for the playing of the Marathon Classic Presented by Dana.
Many of you may remember last year's exciting finish when Jasmine Suwannapura was victorious in a playoff over Brittany Lincicome. It was Suwannapura's first (and only) LPGA victory.
