PutterPedia.com Launches!

We have been talking about a “History” section for a while now. It’s been a VERY long process, but we think we’re on to something!

Starting today, you can visit PutterPedia.com to help us fill in the blanks on the history of putting. If you are familiar at all with WikiPedia.org, you’ll know exactly what to do.

This is a living encyclopedia of putting. We have over 1,400 putters listed in the database, 50 Manufacturers, and that is expected to double in the next few months. Want to see the history of every PING putter? It’ll be there. Have info on an old Wilson 8802? Add it to the page. Want to see the history of a putter manufacturer? Look it up!

This will be the ultimate reference for putter afficianados the world over. No longer will you have to keep a book by the side of your computer when you need info on a putter. Just look it up at PutterPedia.com (or putterencyclopedia.com, or putterinfo.com, or putterinformation.com…)

In the future, only verified/registered members of PutterTalk.com with more than 100 posts are able to edit information on PutterPedia, but the service is available for everyone to use without registration.
