Putter Talk Episode 2

Interview with Bob Bettinardi at his “Studio B” in Chicago IL. We discuss the origination of some of his designs, and learn why he started designing putters.

Interview Notes:

Bob’s first “Bettinardi” putter was the “Cujo 101″ that was released in 1998. There were 30 pieces made.

There is a good reason why you never put a plumber neck on an 8802 style putter.

The Baby Ben was the putter Jim Furyk used to win the 2003 US Open.

Bob’s “Final Putter” would be a BB43 for himself.
