Mark
that looks eerily similar to a Mizuno Workshop I.
I see there are no engravings on the sole, but that is the spitting image of a Workshop.
jay
Not really wanting to add any drama to the thread, but after giving this reply some thought, I would like to add what I know.
I went ahead and pulled the shaft and found the i.d to be 0.294.  I did not pull the shaft on my Workshop, but it is my understanding that it is in the 0.320/0.325 range.
I bought this putter from a reliable source aand he assured me that this was not a WS putter.
I am no Mills expert by any means but in doing some research I have found several pictures of putters similar to the one I pictured here.  There are no less than three pictured in this thread alone; http://www.puttertalk.com/community/index.php/topic,2342.0.html

Mark here is my honest No B.S. assesement. See the T.P. Mills on the face, it looks as though it is Hand Stamped, as the Engaved face markings are more Blocky and don't have the uneven look to them. When a putter is Hand Stamped on the face there is very noticiable mushrooming around the letters, if yours does not have this Mushrooming around the letters most likely you have a modified Workshop putter, that has had the engravings removed purposely to seem like a T.P. Mills Custom by David Mills. Also there is not Faceting on the back flange that I can see and the long neck with ferrule is something David doesn't do on a lot fo the One's now, you get more flare tip shafts on them. The face is not a David Mills engraving because he has only done a look like that on the Mizuno Workshop, if it is Hand Stamped the heavy Mushrooming will stick out. The person who Sold it too you better hope there is or you got taken. Hope it is real!

Mark here are examples, one is a Workshop face photo, notice the flatness of the engraving. Next look at the Hand Stamped example notice the S and the Periods with heavy mushrooming. Your face can only be Hand Stamped as David has not done to my knowledge an engraving like that except Mizuno Workshops. Hope this helps.

It's not uncommon for the face to be ground smooth - even after the stamping has been done.  It is more rare, but has been done before.  TP has done that, and so has David.

I love the effect of the mushrooming stamped letters, btw.

I offer a few pics of my 8813 as done by David - you can see zero mushrooming on the face stamping, but it is one hundred percent hand stamped.  The rising sun on the sole has mushrooming, but not the face.

Doug, you are correct as my Truett Copper Cash In has zero Mushrooming. Then again they didn't make 8813 and Cash In Blades in the Workshop series  ;)!

Kevin, I think this little jab here was done in very poor taste.  There really was no reason for it.
If you want to imply something, come out and say it.  Don't dance around the issue.  Your drive by style is all too common and a little childish.
I find it interesting that you are so able to pass judgement on this putter based on pictures all the while having never held the putter in your hands.  You have nothing in this matter, so keep your childish remarks to yourself.
I paid hard earned money for this putter and I have the right to ask questions.

I didn't see this one listed, but I think it's very cool.  Love the mid-shafted Ones.  Thanks to Johnny for parting with this one, it was made for Peter Jacobsen - but I don't know any more of the history than that.  It's got a great feel, and at some point will make it in the bag this summer.

It was about a year ago that while at Jay's booth at the Orlando PGA Merchandise show I picked up a Comp One and tried it out.  I couldn't believe the feel and bought my first One.  Up to that point I was a face-balanced mallet-ish type of guy.  Of all the Mills, the Ones are now my favorite.

Here are the Ones I've accumulated so far (back to front):

Comp One from PGA Show
Tour Bag One
C1045 "Old Stock" 1978 One (newest acquisition and first pencil neck)
Torpedo 1 One
