Shafting and gripping some Bettinardi heads Help
« on: April 10, 2007, 09:30:20 PM »
I need a little help / advice.  I have the following Bettinardi heads in my collection of Bettinardi putters.  I would like to obtain the proper shafts and grips to make them complete.  My first thought is not to have them "restored"just make them "whole".  Any thoughts and or suggestions?

BB8, BB10, BB12, BB41, Double Aged "Test" Tour Only,
(2) Mc-7, and a Tour Maru 23.

Thanks;
Jim

Dr Jim,
I'm sorry I can't help with your question, but I must ask:  how on earth have you come by a collection of Bettinardi HEADS??  You are amazing!

I don't have an answer for your question, but I have a couple of questions myself:

1)  Where exactly do you live?

2)  When are you and everyone else who lives with you most likely to not be home?

Thanking you in advance.

Thanks for the kind compliment!
These were all David Graham's (PGA) at one time. They were part of a  sequential purchase of Classic X Copper Ingot 1/7 (A005342) from Greg -- took a little while for it to be shafted and certified.

In all seriousness, I'm sure Todd from TKSPutters.com will be here shortly, but he has a full selection of authentic Bettinardi grips for each putter, and I recently noticed he also is selling some authentic for-Bettinardi shafts.  Every Bettinardi putter I've ever seen has been shafted with either a Precision shaft or True Temper with a .355 taper tip.

Great Pics!  I am sure "Guido" is more dangerous than the guard dogs  :-)
