611 refresh
« on: December 01, 2018, 03:36:31 PM »
My (somewhat) new addiction to working with Byron to refurb some of the older models continues....  When I posted a month or so ago on an 006 (http://puttertalk.com/community/index.php?topic=48481.0), I mentioned the beauty of the 611 and all the no-cavity models (DH11, 711, etc.).

To follow that up, here's the latest project back from Huntington Beach.  SS 611 with black PVD finish, hand-milled face, mid-pipe neck at minimal offset.  Thank you, Byron...

This looks killer...that neck is sweeet.  BTW...love the old school covers as well.  Lets get a re-issue of some oldies with the newer velcro or strong magnetic.  My fav. is the Toes on Nose (Wave) cover.

Lots to like with that one. Love the choice of paintfill, it really ‘pops’. 👍👍

J.T., I know Byron is carrying in stock right now the Big Wave cover - I just got a replacement white one (magnetic).  Don't know if I've ever seen these in velcro, but that's a great idea.  And I'm sure a re-run of all the various Sally configurations would I'm sure be VERY popular.
