2008 SC Newport Refinish
« on: August 12, 2018, 08:22:48 PM »
This just returned from a refinish. It was in horrible condition when sent off. I putt very well with it so far. I like the plain face like Tiger used on his NP2. :)

Thanks, I have been putting very well with this one and like the face. It reminds me of my very first Cameron, carbon Pro Platinum.  :)

I had thoughts of send mine off for a full resto. After having it 17 years it still looks fine. Plus I put every little scratch on it.  I did use a stainless steel polishing compound and go over the face and sole a touch to get it cleaned up (a little shiny now). It's still in play and looks fantastic.

Cool, always nice to use the same putter for such a long time. It becomes like an old friend. I have tried the newer Camerons but prefer the older ones.  :)
