Updated pix of mallet with some major modifications
« on: June 04, 2018, 01:04:10 AM »
I am not the guy who leaves well enough alone, so even before the first batch of flanges is back from the anodizing tank, I have made a few mods to a couple of the first run flanges and need your thoughts.
I've created ports in the aluminum section, directly behind the face, for copper or tungsten plugs to drop in and never be seen, for any weight issues that I have created by removing the center, flat section of the flange.
I like the square'd up look of the outside of the flange, along with the harder lines on the front and rear edge of the blade section.
The blades are done and all have a black nitride finish that is beautiful, in person.
Let me know what you guys think.
