DH-89 dimensions
« on: May 17, 2018, 03:21:37 AM »
Hi

I recently got a copper-plated carbon DH-89 online. It's 360g, heavier than my current SS one which is 345g. I've noticed the sole of carbon putter is bit wider in the one I just got, as is the top line. Is this how the weight of the head is varied? Do the dimensions of the DH-89 vary from one to the next?

Attached are pics of my new one and then my current gamer.

Thanks

bogie

That is just the design of the putter. The ticker top line is just a design and I like them more that the current trend for smaller top lines and more squared off top lines. JMHO. That's one beautiful putter and I hope you putt well with it. That's a good price for that putter. Congrats.  :)

I don't know about the DH89, but I believe the 615 comes in a lighter (350g-ish) and a heavier (360g-ish) version.  The difference being made up by wider face and top-line.  Byron or his guys can confirm - and can comment on the DH89 - but I do remember having to select a 'version' when I ordered my first 615...

Correct.

This is the heavier head DH89 with a thicker top line. Just had a discussion with Byron about this a month or so ago.

With two starting heads it’s probably easier and quicker to dial in the head weight for each customer.
