Ultimate Blade Gamer
« on: January 31, 2018, 06:48:46 PM »
Finally found one of these - and here it was hiding down here in Sydney.

Made for the Tour as confirmed by Byron in 2012, it is a 1 of 50 '8811' in German Stainless. It is 360g / 34" and rolls the ball like an absolute dream.

This putter is just flat out gorgeous, if it was a car, it would be an E-Type Jaguar. It has a Black leather Stitchback Grip and a really luxurious leather Headcover. I really don't see this one leaving the bag any time soon.  :)

+1 on RC's comment, and a really unique headcover.  How many more one-off covers are out there like this??

Thanks Frank. I have and have had most of Byrons Headcovers and have never seen another one like this, it really is special in-hand. I always like it when OEM's give their special putters the 'whistles and bells' they deserve. It is a lovely putter and Byron was kind enough to confirm it's Tour provenance for me before I grabbed it.

Very nice indeed Rob - bit too hefty for me at my preferred length of 36", but should feel great at 34".

Yes Terry - pure gamer ha ha. It really rolls the rock well too. I love it because most of the heavy older putters from the Asian Tour are 33" whereas this one is 34' which is what I play.

Thanks mate, always good to hear from you my man!  ;)

When you tire of it let me know.  Course I would have to pick it up in person.

Enjoy, another great looking Byron.

Thank you Max and welcome to the site. :-)

Very nice pick-up. They are great putters.
Thanks Bogie, I agree with you. I have a few DBCM's but wanted one of these for a while. Happy to have her in the stable.
