Looks like Luke is still rolling his center shafted Byron. Hope he pulls it out tomorrow.

Been following his progress too... there was a time when I thought I'd be a center shafted guy for the rest of my life. I still feel very comfortable when I put one in the bag, and it is usually my Byron Spud or a Slighter custom that I picked up second hand. My go to putter remains my Xenon X* in copper however...

Luke List and his Byron Morgan putter received lots of t.v. time today at the Honda Classic, this week's PGA Tour stop.
Luke now has a good opportunity to win this event !

Watching and hoping the best for Luke... also have a young man from my hometown (Rochester, NY) who is in range named Domenic Bozzilli (SP?)

Happy to see Tiger also doing well again...

Last year he didn't have a club contract but he was sponsored. Byron did not stamp anything on it so he could use it in play..

Thought Luke played great until the play off hole - one bad drive.

Obviously I was rooting for our European No1, who's also from my hometown, but one he was out of it I wold have liked to see Luke pick up his first win on Tour. What a brilliant swing he has, never seen too much coverage of him before, but all the guys in the commentary box over here were gushing over his swing. It is just so simple and on plane, packed with effortless power. Hope he manages to kick on from here.

Some great views of his Morgan too.

I was wondering if you Guys were talking about this here. :)

I was rooting hard for Alex (who is from my hometown) and every time I saw Luke on the green I was thinking damn him and his nice putting stroke with that nice putter. ;D But as soon as Alex was out, I was definitely pulling for Luke mostly because of his choice in putter! But he also seems like a cool person, cooler than that other guy in the playoff.  8)

Just looked at the WITB pics over on the other forum.  Unless I'm mistaken, what's really cool and unique about this is that the hosel is high polished SS (or even chromed) to match the shaft while the head is more of a glass-blast.  Not sure I've seen that treatment before...

Luke List's Byron DaKine is alive and well at the Wells Fargo Championship today.  I watched him putting on the practice green and when he was done and came over to his bag I asked him if I could see his "Byron Morgan" putter.  He looked at me with a smile and said sure.  He presented the putter to me and the head cover he is gaming (pictures to follow).  I told him I know Byron and have 6 putters.  I said I have a picture of my gamer on my phone and he asked to look at it.  I showed him my Epic Day and he commented on how nice it looked and the copper plating on it.  At that point he departed to get to work.  It was a brief and enjoyable exchange.

It's great when you make the effort to go to these events and the pros take the time to engage in return.\

I find the younger pros are often more passionate about equipment and will happily chat about it if you show some interest.

Great story and thanks also for behind the scenes updates, Steve.

During today's first round of The Players Championship Luke List knocked a long iron tee shot on to the green of a short par 4 . He then swung his his Byron Morgan center shaft putter and made the eagle putt .Very cool  :)
