Byron's gamer(s)?
« on: December 25, 2017, 04:47:21 PM »
Merry Christmas everyone. I was just sitting around watching too many parades and sports that aren't college football and wondering what Byron's gamer was. I thought I would throw it out to the man himself or anyone that knew. Also, anyone who wants to just share their own current Byron gamer I would love to see some with some "season" on them. I Hope everyone has a blessed holiday and 2018!

Out of all my 'glamorous' Byrons, this old gem has been getting a lot of bag time. It knows how to get the ball in the hole.  ;D

Rob

Kind regards,
Rob

Very nice as usual. Is that deep water finish as awesome in person? It feel like it is in my final 3 for finishes on my next one.

Very cool. That looks like an awesome gamer. That shape is fantastic.

Awesome. Thanks. I couldn't figure out the correct combination of search terms to get me there. Thanks for the assist.

Wow that putter. My high school football coach who introduced me to golf used to tell me to "never bet with a man who has a tan and carries a 3 iron." I would add don't bet with anyone who carries one of those bad boys.  ;D

Let's see some more gamers!

Nice putters, gents!!  My current "in the bag" putter is a 611 Byron re-did for me last year.  SS with matte blue oil finish and the classic twilight zone face.  I'm loving the older models lately, especially the "11's" with the narrow top line and solid face.  Anyone have a 711 or DH11 they want to part with just let me know....

Happy New Year and nothing but good fortune (on and off the greens) in 2018

Awesome. I guess I will add mine. I ordered this about 2 years ago when my son was born. Stainless w brushed blue oil.

Bruce has suggested I might benefit from a little more hang, so I am trying to figure out a new build. I am down to 2 shapes, 2 necks, 4 finishes, and 3 stamping patterns so I'm down to only 48 possible putter combinations, ha.

I absolutely love this putter and the stainless with the tuna #4 milling just feels perfect.

That finish looks incredible. How was the copperhead? That course is always a lot of fun to watch on tv.

I loved the layout. Played the green tees at 6600 yards and had a blast. Expensive to play, but to get to play it at least once was an early Christmas present to myself.

Currently no paint fill in this putter at the moment. Was leaning towards a different color, but kind of liking it with none at all.

I game this one some but I just wasn’t real fond of the greenish black ox finish so I am about to refinish in plum brown either tonight or tomorrow...

Here's my gamer Byron.  Used to have a brushed blue oil finish but there's not much of it left.  It has a Gripmaster Jumbo on it, feels fabulous, and makes putts.

From my group of Byron's this is my gamer.  360 grams of German Stainless goodness in an incredibly crafted Bombora head with a long pipe neck, and yes, that is a blue oil flamed finish.  It's back up is a Byron Epic Day long pipe copper beauty.
