C'mon boys
no suggestions here?
there must be some combination and style in the sea of Betti's that was killer
I look at the JAM but see the honeycomb face
don't I want the FIT face?
I see ported soles
really, was that a benefit?
carbon steel? or is dass worth it
flow necks or plumbers
etc etc etc

Carbon and fit face combo feels too dead for me.
Carbon and HC is OK. DASS and fit face is also OK.
As far as neck- check Bruce's corner for the profiles this depends on your stroke.
All I can give you - good luck in your search! RC

You might be surprised.
I had an SS9 with fit face it rolled real nice.
I had to concentrate more on strike than feel, but I had good results.
Give her a chance.....;)

on top of the carbon ss8
the dass 8 has a slant neck interstingly

That Morgan pipe is very nice!
I had one I struggled with...
I am thinking to get another one, but without the stock tuna #4 face mill that was a mistake when I ordered it I wanted the deep face mill like you have on yours.

I bought this putter new from TOURSPEC Golf, but will not get around to playing it. It is new right out of the head cover to take pics for the auction.

specs:

Seven limited edition SH putter milled putter 350 grams
72 lie angle
34 length
350 grams headweight
deep milled face
white satin finish.
zipper head cover included
Black elite grip ( made in Japan)

Below an excerpt from Tourspecgolf  in reference to the putter.

Introducing the Limited Edition SEVEN SH Putter ( Only 10pcs made )  -  Yes that is right only 10 made fully CNC milled in Himeji Japan.

=====quote=====

Ultimate SM490A Feel
A key feature is it's Material  J.I.S SM490A.  Stainless steel has been known to feel to firm while Carbon steel is known to feel too soft, SM490A is the ultimate compromise giving a dense and buttery vibration going from the head, through the shaft, and up to the hands.
CNC Milled + Hand Polishing
One of the features we are most proud of are it's hand ground edges,  after the putter is CNC milled from a solid 1 piece block the edges are hand polished to perfection.  This is an extra step many putter makers don't do.  SEVEN seeks out the best and most famous grinders to accomplish this and the result is clear to see.  Below look at the angle of the grind on the heels top edge of the bumper.
Custom Options
You have your choice of beautiful made in Japan platings and coatings like Black Boron,  Burning Copper, White Satin, Black Mirror and many others.  We can also have particular areas polished such as the sole or bumpers or the entire head for that more expensive look.
Deep Milled Face
It's Deep Milled Face provides soft feedback up into the hands with an end-over-end roll for straighter putts. Of course feel is subjective and preference but everyone of our testers unanimously agree the SM490 Japan Grade Material combined with SEVEN's face milling feels better than GSS, DASS, and Damascus Insert Putters.
Shape
The SH Putter frames the ball very well,  it's shorter heel to toe with a taller face.  It's 350g head weight is optimal for most players and those who require extra weight can request more extreme custom options from our partner gold's factory to do some aftermarket modifications.

the nine
the signature seven is lights out
not giving anything else (the eight, Gss BM, and Seven) too much love as of yet

I did
and before I screwed it up I have up on ebay willing to take a hit to keep going with what works for me.
It's an accurate and very precise instrument
to the point where in would start replacing the grip to something more to my liking
not that there is anything wrong with the elite grip
I arm lock my putter
so, what works for me is a flatso, turned on it's side, to match the putterface for a SBST stroke
What was perplexing was how I hit a studio stock BB8 (a JAM design) nails, but, super soft
DASS is my sweet spot or GSS
The Seven has a ton of feedback
and
IF, I would dedicate my attention to it
It would be Lethal
Olaf said himself he felt the SEVEN blew the Camerons and Betti's out of the water
Yet, it suits a more arcing stroke
And, had the most toe hang of my Lot
I hope I don't regret this
But, i'm kinda like you Mr. Clarke
a stable of thoroughbred putters
Now, adapting to my putting stroke

Ok what is the toehang on the ss8 you are having success with? Man the nine I had was almost face balanced double bend shaft.
I might have to check you on the seven. What toe hang is working best for you?

slight hang to face balanced
the Seven was like 4:30
the Nardi seven ltd is a face balanced blade
so, had to have it
added the SS flatso sideways against my arm
but level with the face
the eight Nardi is a gamer for me with a flatso straight up
have the nine ltd half moon mallet as well FB
but can't remember what the 2017 BB8 was
but it did have the FIT face and was carbon

Nice, Mike! I never got to liking the Fit face much unless it was DASS.
The bullet sole never did much for me, either...
But this one, WOW! I am looking forward to it!
This thread got me for 2 sticks, the Seven that came through Olaf,,and the FCB, though indirectly....
